Save the Harlo Haagenson Preserve from private development!

The Connecticut Audubon Society was given the 57 acre sanctuary in East Haddam by Mr. Haagenson to manage as a nature preserve. Now sixteen years later, it has been placed on the market to shore up the financial position of the very group entrusted with its care and preservation. This moral breach of faith must not be allowed.

We, the undersigned, strongly support the efforts to safeguard the Preserve in its entirety as open space and habitat for wildlife. Harlo’s gift should not be sold for financial gain.
